A friend of mine posted on Facebook that she had just finished a five page term paper on “Original Sin and Domestic Violence”. Not sure what the class is, but I know she’s majoring in Criminal Justice.

… but where do you even begin on something like that?
Where do you start Page One and how do you end Page 5?
So I commented on her post, and I quote:
“‘Adam should’a beat Eve senseless.’
“There you go.
“Five words.
“Could have saved you a lot of time had you asked.”
If my making a joke about it bothers you, consider the probability that there are some Thumpers out there attending some church with a seven-word name who have memorized the five Chapter / Verses that they believe allow them to justify anything and would probably buy into that.
I don’t have a Theological Doctorate and haven’t even read the entire Book, but I can’t see God telling some hundred-seventeen pound mouth-breather with a pot belly, a mullet and a Talladega muscle shirt “Go thou and slap dat bitch”.
